Several pairs of pants and shoes appropriate for different weather conditions. Plus two sweaters in case one gets stained. A few tops, t-shirts, dresses, costumes, and shower shoes will also come in handy. It is also worth taking a sweatshirt, sneakers, a few sets of underwear, a cosmetics bag, a first aid kit and a jacket in case it rains during the whole trip. What if your suitcase doesn’t close? Relax, we have a solution!

Which of us has not faced similar problems. You would like to take everything and not have dilemmas about what to put on yourself, but unfortunately, a suitcase or a backpack have their limitations. What’s more, you have to pay extra for too heavy luggage, so it’s worth thinking carefully about what you want to take on your trip. So how to pack skilfully? We are here to help!

1. Rolling

How to save a lot of space in your suitcase or backpack and still have crease-free clothes when you arrive? Simply roll them instead of folding them into a popular cube. How to do it? Fold a few t-shirts in half and then stack them on top of each other. Finally, roll them up and you’re done! You can mix the clothes, that is, put the pants first, then the dresses, and finally the t-shirts and tops and only then roll the clothes into a bigger roll.

2. Socks for shoes

If you want to take several pairs of socks it’s a good idea to roll them up and then put them in your shoes. This will save a lot of space.

3. Use vacuum containers

Vacuum bags are a great substitute for cosmetic bags. You can store those products that you have doubts about not spilling on your clothes. What is important, they take up much less space than a classic cosmetic bag.

4. Safety pin for jewelry

You want to take your jewelry with you, but you are afraid of losing your earrings, rings and bracelets? You can wind small pieces of jewelry on a safety pin and attach it to your suitcase, clothes or hide it in a vacuum container.

5. Cables

If you take your laptop, camera and phone with you on a trip, it is worth organizing your cables. To prevent them from getting tangled, tie each one together with a rubber band and put them in the side pockets of your backpack or suitcase. This way you can quickly pull them out at the airport for inspection. Also, find a convenient place for the rest of your gear, so you can easily stuff it into baskets during security checks and put it back.
